Deep dish, well suited to a big salad, large family pasta extravaganza, or anything you can imagine. Enjoy it on the dinner table, or use it as a catch-all on the coffee table. The blue swirl decoration is very organic and a lovely color that brings to mind the clear blue ocean on a sunny day.
This bowl is made of buff colored stoneware, thrown on the pottery wheel. It's then glazed with white glaze, and a blue glaze is finally applied with a brush in a swift motion. Fired to over 1260 degrees C, then sanded on the bottom for a smooth glassy finish.
